BEAMING ROCKS

The highway connecting Vijayawada and Hyderabad is a photographer’s delight. As I gallop comfortably in my smart car, I feel I’m passing through a carnival of nature’s colorful show.

I see the vastness of blue skies, the water filled fields running along, the string of mountains, desolate small temples, shanties offering hot tea to sleepy truck drivers. Everything has a rich detail that tempts me to grab a snap. Every setting I take on seems like giving away a message: how hard the life is and how soothing the nature to comfort and fill liveliness in us.

This Sunday the drive led me to a mountain trail hardly fifteen minutes from Ibrahimpatnam. It was a ten minutes ride behind a small village off the highway to Hyderabad. The massive hills are lonesome, dangerous and amazing. I had the Rotarian buddy K.S Rao with me to help move with my gadgets more boldly and less fear.

“Rock is a great master of life. It teaches us this simple philosophy: stay firm, stay lively”!

Ibrahimpatnam is 20KM from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, India.
